Carfino processes personal data to respond to inquiries, prepare offers and provide customer service. Social media links may lead to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and WhatsApp. Please refer to the respective providers for their own privacy information.
Analytics and returning visitors
Only after consent, the browser creates a random visitor ID and a session ID. These identifiers are pseudonymised before storage and allow Carfino to analyse returning browsers, pages and vehicles viewed, visit duration, approximate region, referring page and device information. They are not linked to names, email addresses, inquiries or Fast Lane documents. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through Cookie settings.
Fast Lane and uploaded documents
The voluntary Fast Lane service allows you to upload your driving licence and identity card or passport in advance so that Carfino can review your inquiry more quickly. Business customers can additionally upload their business registration. If the company is entered in the commercial register, the commercial register number and register court are also processed.
The documents are stored in an area protected from public access. Only authorised users can retrieve them and retrievals are logged. Notification emails do not contain the documents themselves. The documents are deleted when they are no longer required for processing the inquiry, unless statutory obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require longer retention.
